GPSeeker (pronounced g p seeker): a person that acts alone or as a member of a team that seeks out hidden objects using a GPS device, clues, imagination and keen eyesight. Alternative definition: someone that participates in geocaching events.
GPSeeker events combine a number of elements to create a fun and competitive event that can be enjoyed by children and adults. The events are a high-tech treasure hunt that test a teams ability to solve problems and puzzles, work with GPS (Global Positioning System) handhelds, move quickly while using keen eyesight and work together.
Using a GPS device is easy for people of all ages. It takes about five minutes to understand how taking steps in different directions changes the coordinates of where you are standing as displayed on the GPS.
